This year, we are launching a new initiative: Faces of NACFC: The People Behind the Progress.

As NACFC continues to evolve, we want its visual identity to reflect the people who make this community extraordinary. Through Faces of NACFC, we will select a small group of CF professionals whose stories, experiences, and contributions represent the diversity and strength of our audience.

Selected participants will:

• Serve as Faces of NACFC for future conference marketing and promotional materials up to three years.
• Participate in a professional photo session during NACFC 2026.
• Help showcase the many disciplines, perspectives, career stages, and lived experiences that shape our community.

We welcome applications from individuals across all areas of the NACFC audience, including researchers, clinicians, allied health professionals, coordinators, trainees, and other professionals engaged in advancing CF care and research.

Submit:

• Your name, professional affiliation, and a photo.
• Your responses to the following questions:

1. Tell us about a meaningful NACFC experience, or if you are newer to the conference, what NACFC means to you professionally or personally.
2. How does your work contribute to improving the lives of people affected by cystic fibrosis? Please share a specific example that illustrates your impact.
3. Faces of NACFC should reflect the diverse experiences and contributions that make up our community. What perspective, experience, or story would you bring?

Applications are due August 4, 2026.

Your name, affiliation, contact information, and photo will not be shared with the Selection Panel. Applicants will be selected based on their answers to the additional questions. If selected, you must be registered for and attend NACFC 2026 and be available for a professional photo session during the conference.

Selected applicants will be notified by early September.

We are seeking a small group of volunteers to serve on the inaugural Faces of NACFC Selection Panel.

The review panelists will evaluate applications and help identify individuals who reflect the breadth, diversity, dedication, and impact of the NACFC community.

We are seeking reviewers who represent:

• Different professional disciplines.
• Various career stages.
• Diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
• The collaborative spirit of NACFC.

Expected Commitment

• Review applications between August 12–24.
• Complete an electronic scoring form.
• Participate in a brief selection discussion (if needed).

The estimated time commitment is approximately 2–3 hours total.

Reviewers will evaluate applicants based on:

• Connection to NACFC.
• Contributions to the CF community.
• Authenticity and impact of their written statement.
• Alignment with the goals of the Faces of NACFC program.
