Case Summary Submissions

We invite clinicians, researchers, and care team members (including fellows, residents, and trainees) to submit compelling clinical cases for consideration at NACFC 2026. Case submissions help highlight unique presentations, multidisciplinary care approaches, and practical lessons that support learning across the CF community.

What to Submit 

Provide a summary of the case, key findings or challenges, and the main takeaways for attendees. For guidance on each submission type, please refer to the guides available in the download box. 

Submission Types

  • Consultation Clinics: Showcases interesting, puzzling, or challenging CF cases. The session is 1 hour and 15 minutes. Four cases will be selected. Each presenter will have 5 minutes to present their case, followed by 5 minutes of discussion. The session concludes with a 30-minute open discussion.
  • Physician Grand Rounds: Features teaching-focused or complex CF cases in a 2-hour session. Four cases will be selected. Each presenter will have 6 minutes to present, followed by a 15-minute discussion led by an expert discussant. Approximately 26 minutes will be reserved for open discussion.
  • Pediatric & Adult Fellows: Showcases submissions designed to teach key points about CF presentation and/or management. This session is two hours in length. Seven case presentations will be selected. Each presenter will have 10 minutes to present, each followed by five minutes of discussion. The session concludes with 10-minutes of open discussion.
