Late-Breaking Abstracts

Large clinical trial results released after the standard abstract deadline that represent significant therapeutic advances or breakthrough basic science results on the level of a Science or Nature paper are eligible to submit as a late-breaking abstract.

Submission Requirements

Accepted abstract presenters are required to register for NACFC and present a poster. To submit a late-breaking abstract, you must use the submission portal. The link will be provided on this page on July 7. To review submission requirements, please carefully read the Rules and Instructions and the Categorizing Abstracts files located in the download box.

Who Should Submit
  • Researchers, clinicians, allied health professionals, trainees, and community partners.
Poster Presentation

Accepted abstracts will be displayed in the onsite poster gallery in the Exhibit Hall.

Poster presenters are required to bring their printed poster(s) and set up on the assigned poster board no later than Thursday, October 8 by 8:30 a.m., before the poster hall opens. Additionally, presenting authors must be present during the formal poster session scheduled for Friday, October 9. Odd-numbered poster presenters will be required to be next to their poster from 12:15 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. ET. and even-numbered poster presenters will be required to be next to their poster from 1:15 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. ET. Additional details will be provided in acceptance letters.
