Due to rising cases of COVID-19 infection across the United States, the CF Foundation has made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person, 2021 North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC), which was scheduled to take place September 30 – October 2 in San Antonio. 

NACFC 2021 has now been converted to an all-virtual meeting and will take place November 2-5, 2021.

If you were registered to attend in-person, your registration has been be rolled over to the virtual meeting within the next week, and a refund has been issued for the fee difference.

While we had hoped to gather together this fall, we firmly believe that the shift to an all-virtual meeting is in the best interest of the health and safety of the entire CF community.

What Does my Fee Include?

The virtual meeting will feature more than double the content offered in 2020, and includes the core NACFC programming: symposia, workshops, and plenary sessions.  Symposia and workshops will include live Q&A and discussion with the presenters. We have added a number of live, interactive sessions such as roundtables, fireside chats, and discipline group discussions that will enable you to connect with your colleagues in real time. On Tuesday, November 2, we plan to offer a case day featuring Physician Grand Rounds, Consultation Clinics and Pediatric & Adult Fellows Sessions.

The meeting will also feature an entirely new poster gallery where you can view posters and listen to brief audio presentations from the presenters. Presenters will also be available for live video chats during designated poster session times. There will also be a virtual exhibit hall where you can explore exhibitor profiles. The complimentary virtual track is still available for those participants who have a personal connection to CF.


Attendees may cancel their registration until 5:00 PM ET on Friday, October 29, 2021. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment within two weeks after the end of the virtual event.
